Getting to Les Arcs 1800 (Road and Channel)By RoadThere is direct access to Les Arcs via the European motorway network. The roads which were built for the Olympics make access to Bourg Saint Maurice and Les Arcs very easy, part of the European motorway network: take the motorway to Albertville, dual carriageway to Moûtiers then the RN 90 to Bourg Saint Maurice. A wide mountain road leads up to Les Arcs. The streets of the high-altitude resorts are often closed to motor traffic - if coming from Italy direction the Saint Bernard pass is usually closed through out the winter months.

By Funicular TrainThe Arc-en-Ciel funicular train, which leaves from just behind the SNCF railway station, takes you to Arc 1600 in just 7 minutes. Use of this service is included in all ski passes (from funicular train station ticket office).

Your nearest bus stop will be on the main road in the centre of Arc 1800. There is (should be!) a shuttle bus that runs up and down from the centre to the Alpage as well! The shuttle bus to take you to and from Arc 1800 centre is on the main road. This takes you to all the other Arc resorts as well.
