This luxury Chamonix Les Houches chalet apartment is in a newly built (2005) MGM development located in a wonderful part of Les Houches, right opposite the Bellevue ski lift where the men's downhill - Le Kandahar - takes place each year. You would be able to watch the last part of the race from the chalet itself! The chalet complex is made up of 30 chalets.

KandaharA also has a private ski locker and ample outdoor car parking space for the use of MyFrenchChalet clients. Its traditional wooden furniture is top of the range, produced by local craftsmen. Large patio doors overlook the superb valley. The lounge has ample seating including a comfortable sofa bed, table and seating for six. There is a TV, CD and DVD player all-in-one player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size oven, four-ring halogen hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster, coffee maker and plenty of cupboard storage.

The two double bedrooms have double/ twin beds, built in wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps, mirrors, shelves and ski clothing hooks. One bedroom has access to a balcony via French windows. The bathroom is fully equipped with a bath and shower over it, full size wash basin, plenty of cupboards and heated towel rail. There is a separate WC in the apartment. The hall also has a storage cupboard, steam iron, ironing board, hair drier, clothes airer and ski clothing hangers. Therefore this chalet apartment would easily accommodate 4-6 people.

The traditional Alpine village of Les Houches lies at the gateway to the Chamonix Valley. With magnificent panoramic views over the Mont Blanc Range, it combines the charm and friendliness of a traditional alpine village with the splendour of high mountain scenery. Quieter than nearby Chamonix it is a typical mountain village with an old core, pretty church and old wooden Savoyard farmhouses around. There are a number of pleasant bars and good restaurants for quiet evenings out and buses run in and out of Chamonix all evening. Its friendly relaxed atmosphere provides a great base for families. It is also ideal for those wishing to explore the rest of the legendary valley.
